2. Receive Your Travel Quote

Once your trip is selected, you'll receive the applicable pricing, booking requirements, deposit information, and payment deadlines.

3. Choose an Available Payment Option

When payment is due, eligible payment methods may be displayed at checkout.

Depending on your purchase and eligibility, you may see options such as:

Affirm • Klarna • Afterpay • Zip • Card • Other available payment methods

Stripe currently supports multiple buy-now-pay-later providers, but availability depends on the transaction and customer eligibility. (Stripe)

4. Complete Your Booking

Once your required payment or deposit has been successfully processed, your travel booking can proceed according to the applicable booking terms.

5. Keep Making Your Scheduled Payments

If you select a payment plan through an available financing provider, that provider will manage the applicable installment or financing schedule.

Your payment schedule does not change the travel supplier's final-payment deadline.

When a third-party payment or financing option is offered at checkout, the payment provider handles its own approval process, payment terms, and customer repayment schedule.

That means you don't have to negotiate an installment arrangement directly with TWAN.

Depending on the provider and transaction, customers may be offered installment or financing options. For example, Stripe's current U.S. payment-method information lists Affirm, Klarna, Cash App Afterpay, and Zip among its buy-now-pay-later options.

Eligible U.S. customers may be offered monthly payment options through Affirm, including financing terms that can extend up to 36 months depending on eligibility and transaction details.

Klarna

Klarna offers flexible ways for eligible customers to pay, with available options varying by transaction and customer eligibility. 

Afterpay

Eligible purchases may be divided into installments through Afterpay/Clearpay, subject to the provider's requirements. 

Zip

Zip is another buy-now-pay-later option supported by Stripe in applicable markets and transactions. 

Not every payment option will be available for every booking.

Is There a Minimum or Maximum Trip Price?

There is not one universal TWAN payment-plan limit that applies to every trip.

The payment provider determines the applicable eligibility, transaction limits, and available terms.

For example, Stripe's documentation indicates that BNPL minimums and maximums can vary by provider and customer; its current documentation lists a $10 minimum for certain BNPL methods and notes that financing amounts above $5,000 may be possible depending on the provider/customer, with maximums varying by customer. 

The payment options displayed at checkout are the options available for that particular transaction.

Important: Your Travel Deadline Still Matters

Choosing a payment option does not extend the travel supplier's payment deadline.

Every trip has its own booking and final-payment requirements.

For example, a supplier may require your trip to be paid in full a certain number of days before departure.

Therefore:

Book early whenever possible.

The earlier you begin planning, the more opportunity you may have to make payments before the supplier's final-payment deadline.
