Planning & Service Fees
Travel planning fees vary depending on the complexity of your request and whether the travel components are commissionable. After reviewing your request, a personalized invoice will be sent for approval before any research or planning begins. Work will commence once payment has been received.

Payment Policy:

Travel planning and professional service fees are non-refundable and compensate for the time, expertise, research, and personalized planning provided by Travel with Alicia Nichol. These fees are separate from supplier deposits and vacation costs.

Services that commonly do NOT pay commission:

These are excellent services to charge fees for because suppliers often pay little or no commission.

• Hotel-only reservations

• Car rentals

• Rail tickets

• Sports tickets

• Concert tickets

• Restaurant reservations

• Attraction tickets

• Visa assistance

• Passport assistance

• Independent itinerary planning

• Research-only requests

• Booking with client-selected suppliers that do not pay commission

• Changes after booking

• Cancellations

• Rebooking

• Supplier advocacy during disruptions

• Emergency travel support

Note:

Cruise bookings through preferred cruise line partners typically do not require a planning fee. Service fees generally apply to air-only bookings, hotel-only reservations, car rentals, independent travel planning, complex itineraries, supplier changes, and other non-commissionable or research-intensive services.
