Planning & Service Fees
At Travel with Alicia Nichol, I make travel planning easy, organized, and enjoyable. Many preferred travel suppliers compensate travel advisors directly. When your trip is booked with a supplier that compensates travel advisors, standard planning and booking support is generally included at no additional cost.
WHEN THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL FEE
Standard planning and booking support is generally included for vacation packages, cruises, all-inclusive resorts, hotels, rail vacations, tours, and excursions when they are booked with a supplier that compensates travel advisors.
WHEN A SERVICE FEE MAY APPLY
A per-traveler service fee may apply for airfare, hotel-only bookings, vacation rentals, villas, car rentals, rail-only tickets, transfers, tickets, private tours, restaurant reservations, travel-document assistance, custom itinerary research, and client-selected suppliers that do not compensate travel advisors.
If a requested supplier or travel option does not compensate travel advisors, a fee may apply even if it is not specifically listed. You will always be notified before work begins.

Enhanced Trip Management Fees
These fees may apply when a trip over $20,000 requires enhanced coordination, such as group or corporate travel, multiple rooms or suppliers, destination weddings, custom itineraries, payment tracking, or concierge-style support. This fee is not automatically charged based on trip cost alone.

Planning & Service Fees
Travel planning fees vary depending on the complexity of your request and whether the travel components are commissionable. After reviewing your request, a personalized invoice will be sent for approval before any research or planning begins. Work will commence once payment has been received.
PAYMENT POLICY
Service fees are separate from travel costs, supplier deposits, insurance, taxes, and government fees. Planning and service fees are non-refundable once research, planning, booking, or coordination work has begun.
My goal is simple: clear communication, personalized travel support, and no surprises.
